Hawks center Al Horford spoke to the media Friday morning, a day after being named to his third NBA All-Star team. Here are some excerpts from the interview:

Q. What is your reaction, now that it's official, that three more Hawks will be going to the All-Star Game?

A. It's exciting, man. I'm so excited for our group. Our team has put in a lot of work and our guys know that this has been a team effort, what we have done so far. It feels good that we are going to be representing the team.

Q. How about for you personally to make it back from the injuries? Does this mean more to you?

A. It does. Like you said, there is a lot of adversity that I have gone through the past couple of years. It feels really good. I have great support from my family, friends and teammates. My faith always kept be focused and strong. I'm happy to be in this position again.

Q. How about Jeff Teague getting to go?

A. It's so exciting. I'm so excited for Jeff. He really worked hard this summer. Like I was telling people, he is the motor of our team. He gets us going. I'm just excited to see him get his first All-Star (appearance).

Q. Is this selection more precious than the first two? Or is the first one the sweetest?

A. I think this one, for me, just because what we are doing as a team this year and because of the adversity that I had to go through. It just feels really good. And our coaches are going to be there. That is more exciting as well. It's like a Hawks party up in New York.

Q. Should Kyle Korver be the injury replacement if Dwyane Wade can't play?

A. Definitely, yes.
