Braves Freddie Freeman holds his son Charlie during a ceremony presenting him with the Wilson defensive player of the year and the Rawlings Gold Gove award before playing the Chicago Cubs Wednesday, April 3, 2019, in Atlanta.

With the baseball season on hold, Freddie is keeping in form.

Freddie Freeman’s wife, Chelsea, tweeted a video Sunday of Freddie and their 3-year-old son, Charlie, playing some “backyard baseball.”

Freddie showed no mercy. He crushed Charlie’s high, off-speed throw into a faraway wooded area.

Maybe Charlie’s more of a slugger, like his dad. Earlier this month, Charlie showed off his swing in the cage.

The Freemans last week donated $125,000 toward local coronavirus relief efforts.
