Braves pitching prospect Touki Toussaint was named the International League Pitcher of the Week. The Gwinnett Stripers right-hander won the Triple-A award for the week of Aug. 20-26 as he did not allow a run in a win over Durham. He allowed just three hits with eight strikeouts in seven innings against Durham, who entered with the second-most wins and second-highest batting average in the league.

Toussaint is the second straight Striper to win the award after Bryse Wilson was honored last week.

Since being promoted to Triple-A on July 5, Toussaint is second in the International League with a 1.62 ERA. He is 4-0 with 49 strikeouts and a .198 opponent average.

Toussaint made his major league debut on Aug. 13 and pitched the Braves to win over the Marlins, allowing just one run in six innings.
