The Braves aren’t just the second-best team in the National League. They might be the best in late-game situations.

They’ve walked off twice against the Mets in the past three games, with Charlie Culberson and Johan Camargo providing the game-ending homers.

Here are a few things to know about the Braves’ success in crunch time:

1. The Braves' three game-winning homers are tied for most in the league with St. Louis. That amount is tied for the most they've hit in the past eight seasons. They hammered five game-enders in 2010.

2. Over the last two seasons, the Braves have scored 37 percent of their runs in the seventh inning or later (375 of 1,009 entering Wednesday). The Cubs' 34 percent is the next-highest in the bigs over that span.

3. Tuesday marked just the second time in Atlanta Braves history that the team walked off with a homer in consecutive days. They did so in 1971, with Hank Aaron and Darrell Evans providing the power.

4. The Braves have scored 100 runs in the seventh inning or later this year, most in the NL, while hitting a league-best .262 and posting a majors-best .351 on-base percentage in late situations.

5. The Braves' 10 deficits overcome in the eighth inning or later are a league-high. They've been prone to such under manager Brian Snitker: Since he took over on May 16, 2016, the Braves have a league-high 45 wins in their final at-bat.
