Mississippi Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson either broke out of his massive slump Tuesday night, or at least got a nice reprieve from it.

On Tuesday, in a 5-1 victory against Jackson, Swanson was 2-for-4 with a double and a triple. He scored a run and had three RBIs.

The Braves’ top prospect, Swanson entered Tuesday’s game with one hit in his previous 25 at-bats, five hits in his previous 39 at-bats (.128 average) and seven hits in his previous 54 at-bats (.130).

Overall, Swanson is hitting .245 (63-for-159) with four home runs and 20 RBIs in 39 games at Double-A Mississippi. He has struck out 29 times and walked 16 times.
