General manager Alex Anthopoulos and manager Brian Snitker met with Braves players Tuesday night to inform them of who made the club. In those meetings, Snitker learned something about his new boss.

“Alex has got an unbelievable way of related to these guys,” Snitker said. “He’s very truthful and real with them. It’s hard to dispute anything that he says. He’s really good.”

The Braves set their roster that night, but waited until the 10 a.m. Thursday deadline before finalizing, in case Anthopoulos had a last-second move up his sleeve.

The situation remains fluid and will be for the next few weeks, but the Braves publicly announced their initial 25-man group around 12:43 p.m. Thursday.
