By Carroll Rogers Walton
July 4, 2015

Where: Turner Field

When: 7:15 p.m.

TV/Radio: Fox/680, 93.7, 106.7

Probable starting pitchers: Braves LH Alex Wood (5-5, 3.17) vs. RH Kevin Correia (0-2, 3.60)

What's new: The Braves are 5-5 in their past 10 games on the Fourth of July, eight of which were played at Turner Field. Both teams will wear special holiday jerseys and hats, the sale of which will go toward the Welcome Back Veterans charity. Cameron Maybin's walk-off single Thursday night to lift the Braves to a 2-1 win over the Nationals raised his season average with runners in scoring position to .391, second only to Freddie Freeman among Braves regulars. Kelly Johnson will be in the lineup somewhere against Kevin Correia. He is 10-for-30 (.333) with five home runs and 10 RBIs for his career against Correia. The veteran of five teams signed with the Phillies on June 9 after opting out of a contract with the Giants.
