The Braves’ Anibal Sanchez had his Los Angeles hotel room burglarized on Saturday while the right-hander was pitching against the Dodgers, according to TMZ.
According to the TMZ report, Sanchez lost more than $100,000 in jewelry, including four watches, from his downtown Los Angeles hotel room. Police are investigating the incident that does not appear to be forced entry into the room.
For many years, the Braves stayed in Pasadena during series against the Dodgers.
The Braves won Saturday’s game, 5-3, as Sanchez earned the victory. He pitched 5-1/3 innings and allowed just three hits and two earned runs. The Braves dropped two of three games at the Dodgers.
