How the winning run scored: Eric Fryer's one-out double with the bases loaded in the sixth inning drove home all three runs and gave Rochester a 4-0 lead over the host Gwinnett Braves on Tuesday night.

At the plate: The G-Braves barely made a whimper at the plate, managing eight singles. Jose Constanza (3-for-4) was the only G-Brave with more than one hit, and teammate Paul Janish had two RBIs. Antoan Richardson (a former G-Brave), Doug Bernier and Fryer had two hits apiece for the Red Wings.

On the mound: G-Braves starter Sean Gilmartin (3-5) left after six innings, having thrown 110 pitches. Gilmartin gave up four runs on eight hits and three walks. He struck out five.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (25-35) and the Red Wings (27-32) meet again at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville. CSS is scheduled to televise the game. Gwinnett plans to start right-hander David Hale (1-1, 5.12 ERA) against righty Cole De Vries (0-1, 12.00).
