Matt Wisler, RHP, Triple-A Gwinnett

Ranking: No. 1 prospect by Baseball America

Wisler had strung together three good starts after his three rough ones, using a more comfortable grip on his slider. He has allowed just one earned run in each of his past three starts (2-0 with a 1.42 ERA) to improve 2-3 with a 4.15 ERA. Wisler held Louisville scoreless Friday until two outs in the sixth when he gave up back-to-back run-scoring hits. Wisler also collected the first two RBIs of his career on a two-out, two-run single. He’ll make his next Wednesday in front of family and friends in Toledo, just an hour from his hometown of Bryan, Ohio.

Jose Peraza, 2B, Triple-A Gwinnett

Ranking: No. 2 prospect by Baseball America

Peraza had to leave Thursday’s game after singling in the ninth inning with hamstring soreness and has missed the past three games. But with one more day of rest Monday, the G-Braves were hoping to have him back in the lineup Tuesday in Toledo. Peraza went 2-for-4 Thursday to extend his hitting streak to six games, while batting .360 (9-for-25) with five RBIs and three stolen bases.

Ricardo Sanchez, LHP, low Single-A Rome

Ranking: No. 9 prospect by Baseball America

Since he’s only 18, the Braves want to monitor Sanchez’s workload on the mound anyway and have put him on a strength and conditioning program until his return, perhaps in the next week or so. He is 0-3 with an 8.79 ERA through four starts in Rome.

Tyrell Jenkins, RHP, Double-A Mississippi

Ranking: No. 13 prospect by Baseball America
