Ozzie Albies, SS, low Single-A Rome
Ranking: No. 8 prospect by Baseball America
The dynamic 18-year-old from Curacao actually had a few 0-fers at the plate this week, which was news for the youngest selection to this year’s Futures Game. Tyrell Jenkins, RHP, Triple-A Gwinnett

Jenkins made his second quality start in his first three outings for Gwinnett after his promotion from Mississippi. Jenkins went six innings at Rochester on Wednesday, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and just one walk. Jenkins, who was to start Monday against Durham, is 1-1 with a 3.18 ERA in Gwinnett.
Mallex Smith, CF, Triple-A Gwinnett

Rio Ruiz, 3B, Double-A Mississippi
Ranking: No. 11 prospect by Baseball America
After showing some progress coming out of the All-Star break, Ruiz is back in a funks. He was hitless in his previous eight games entering Monday, while going 0-for-29 with no walks and 12 strikeouts over that span. His season batting average is back down to .207.
Touki Toussaint, RHP, low Single-A Rome
Ranking: Formerly Diamondbacks’ No. 5 prospect by Baseball America

Six days later he got hammered for nine earned runs in 3 1/3 innings, allowing four home runs among his 10 hits and striking out just two.
