The wait is over, as the Braves will promote No. 1 prospect Ronald Acuna to the team Wednesday, a person familiar with the situation confirmed to the AJC on Tuesday night.

Acuna, 20, will take over in left field. The phenom already has several accolades to his young career, including Baseball America’s 2017 minor league player of the year award and being the youngest ever to win Arizona Fall League MVP.

Now Acuna takes his show to the majors. Here are three numbers regarding his brief stay in Triple-A Gwinnett:

4: Acuna has stolen four bases in five attempts, with three coming in the first game of Monday's doubleheader. That would rank second-best on the Braves, behind Ender Inciarte (seven) and one ahead of Ryan Flaherty.

.232: Acuna got off to a sluggish start in the first seven games, but rebounded in the past 10, hitting .300 to convince the Braves he was ready for the bigs.

20: Once the youngest player in the International League, Acuna becomes the youngest player in the majors at age 20. He takes the crown from 21-year-old friend and teammate Ozzie Albies.
