Mike Minor's nearly perfect pitching performance Sunday pushed the Gwinnett Braves past the Buffalo Bisons 7-5 at Coolray Field.
Minor took a perfect game into the sixth inning and finished with a one-hit win. He matched G-Brave career highs with nine strikeouts and eight innings pitched.
Stefan Gartrell and Brandon Hicks both hit home runs to put the Braves up 7-0 in the ninth inning. It was Gartrell's third home run in two games. The Bison scored five runs in the ninth.
The Braves (28-28) remain in second place in the International League South Division. The Braves finish their four-game homestand tonight against the Bison with a 7:05 p.m. start.
