How the game was won: The Mets erased a 2-1 Braves lead on Wilmer Flores' homer in the eighth inning off rookie Cody Martin, then scored a run in the eighth against suddenly struggling Jim Johnson to pull out a 3-2 win and clinch the series while extending their winning streak to 10 games. A.J. Pierzynski had three hits and walk for the Braves, who've lost five of seven games since their 6-1 start.

Number: 11. Consecutive batters retired by Braves pitcher Eric Stults from the second out of the second inning, with two runners on base in a 1-1 game, until a one-out single by Lucas Duda in the sixth inning.

Next: The teams play the series finale Thursday at 1:10 p.m., when Braves right-hander Julio Teheran (2-0, 3.71) faces 41-year-old Mets righty Bartolo Colon (3-0, 2.25).
