How the winning run scored: Three consecutive one-out line drive singles to left field scored Andrew Lambo, who started the string, to break a 1-1 tie and provide the winning margin for visiting Indianapolis (62-41). The 2-1 game was delayed by lightning and later called by rain at 7 1/3 innings.

At the Plate: G-Braves had nine hits, all singles, two apiece by Alden Carrithers and Joe Leonard and one by starting pitcher Omar Poveda. Carrithers got the Braves' only RBI. The Braves had six strikeouts and no walks

On the mound: Poveda (5-6, 3.30) took the loss. He gave up seven hits, two runs, including a home run, with seven strikeouts and two walks in six innings. Yohan Flande (5.29) and Joe Beimel (4.70) gave up no hits in one inning and one-third inning of relief, respectively.

What's next for the G-Braves: G-Braves (44-58) host the Durham Bulls (64-38) for two at 6:05 p.m. today and Tuesday before heading on the road for six.
