Former Braves star outfielder David Justice will manage a team in the 2016 Ripken Futures Game, which will be played Aug. 6 at Cal Ripken Jr.’s youth complex in Aberdeen, Md.

The game features 24 of the top 12-year-old baseball players in the country, including three from metro Atlanta.

Justice will manage a team that will include Will Fincher of Marietta. Former Mets star John Franco will manage the other team, which will include Trent Reddick of Dallas and Davis Rowell of Acworth.

Justice played for the Braves from 1989-96 and was National League rookie of the year in 1990. His home run in Game 6 of the 1995 World Series provided the Braves their only run in a 1-0 series-clinching victory against the Cleveland Indians.

Justice hit 305 in his 14-season career in the majors, 160 of them for the Braves.

The game will be played on a field that is a two-thirds replica of Camden Yards in Baltimore and will be telecast on MLB.com.
