The Braves agreed to terms on one-year contracts with 23 players who weren’t eligible for arbitration. With a few exceptions, notably pitchers Shelby Miller, Alex Wood and Luis Avilan, most others in the group had little or no major league service and will make a prorated portion of the major league minimum salary of $507,500 or slightly more for any time spent on the 25-man roster this season.

Miller, who made $521,000 last season with the Cardinals, has just over two years of service time and will be eligible for arbitration after the 2015 season. Avilan has about 2 ½ seasons of service time and can also be eligible for arbitration after the 2015 season. Wood has less than two years of service and isn’t expected to be arb-eligible until after the 2016 season.

Others who came to terms on one-year deals: right-handers Mauricio Cabrera, Brandon Cunniff, Mike Foltynewicz, Juan Jaime, Tyrell Jenkins, Williams Perez, Shae Simmons, Arodys Vizcaino and Dan Winkler; left-handers Manny Banuelos, Yean Carlos Gil and Ian Thomas; infielders Phil Gosselin, Jose Peraza, Jace Peterson and Elmer Reyes; outfielders Todd Cunningham, Eury Perez and Joey Terdoslavich, and catcher Christian Bethancourt.
