In the winter prior to the 2014 season, former Braves catcher Brian McCann signed a five year, $85 million deal with the New York Yankees, hoping to become a part of the franchise's next stretch of greatness.

Three years into the deal, he has become a platoon player for the fourth-place team in the AL East.

McCann is currently batting .233 with 13 homers and 35 RBI. A career .267 hitter, McCann batted .232 in his first two seasons in New York.

“I can’t put a finger on it,” McCann told ESPN.
