Atlanta United defeated Tormenta 3-0 on Saturday to win its first friendly under new manager Gabriel Heinze.

Though the team held the scrimmage behind closed doors at its training center in Marietta and chose not to provide a livestream of the game, it did put out a highlights package a few hours after the game ended.

Atlanta United’s goals were scored by Tyler Wolff, Jake Mulraney and Erick Torres.

Wolff’s goal came on a right-footed shot from 12 yards away. Mulraney’s goal came on a left-footed shot into the lower right corner. Torres’ came on a header from close range. All were scored in the second half, according to Tormenta’s Twitter feed.

Of note, Josef Martinez started and played through at least one tackle shown in the highlights. That may be a good sign of development in the rehab on his knee. He suffered a season-ending injury ACL tear in last season’s first game.

Other players who appeared in the video included Ezequiel Barco, who had one mazey run, Marcelino Moreno, Miles Robinson, George Campbell, Machop Chol, Jackson Conway, Emerson Hyndman, Brad Guzan, Anton Walkes and Mikey Ambrose.
