Atlanta United’s Hector Villalba will go on loan to Club Tijuana in Mexico.

The club tweeted out the news Friday night.

Atlanta United will begin play in MLS in 2017. The players that it has signed are being sent out on loan to stay in shape for the next MLS season.

Villalba, a forward/winger, has spent the entirety of his career in Argentina playing for San Lorenzo.

Tijuana, known as Xolos, struggled in Liga MX last season, going the Clausura without a win at home, but is off to a good start in the Apertura season.

The team is coached by former Mexico manager Miguel Herrera and features several players eligible to play for the U.S. men’s national team, including Greg Garza, John Requejo, Alejandro Guido, Amando Moreno and Michael Orozco.

Other Atlanta United players out on loan are:

Alex Tambakis, Jeffrety Otoo and Andrew Carleton with Charleston in the USL, Junior Burgos with Tampa Bay in the NASL, Kenwyne Jones with Central FC in Trinidad and Tobago, and Chris McCann with Coventry City in England’s League One.
