Atlanta United goalkeeper Alex Tambakis and fullback Mike Ambrose will be loaned to Charleston for its season-opening game in the USL. The loan is for Saturday’s game at MUSC Health Stadium only.

They duo will join forward Romario Williams and midfielder Jeffrey Otoo, who were loaned from Atlanta United to its USL partner for the season.

Tambakis, the team’s first signing, also played for the Battery last season. He made 20 appearances with six shutouts. Ambrose was acquired in the expansion draft. Neither have played for Atlanta United this season.

Atlanta United is off this week during the international break. It will return to action at Seattle on March 31.
