Atlanta United manager Gerardo Martino has completed his coaching staff for the Major League Soccer expansion club.

Joining Martino will be assistant coaches Jorge Theiler and Dario Sala, goalkeeper coach Aron Hyde, fitness coaches Rodolfo Paladini and Manuel Alfano, video analyst Damian Silvero and head of sports science Ryan Alexander.

Theiler is a former defender for the Argentinian national team who has worked with Martino before and been a head coach at several clubs in South America. Sala, a former goalkeeper, played for Dallas in MLS. Hyde coached goalkeepers for six seasons with Chicago.

Paladini worked with Martino at Newell’s Old Boys while Alfano was with Martino at FC Barcelona, Argentina’s national team and Paraguay’s national team. Alexander has worked sports science with the U.S. men’s national team since 2015.

“We are very proud of the staff we have put together,” Martino said in a statement from the club. “It was important for me to have a combination of coaches who I’ve worked with and trust, as well as having coaches and technical staff who are familiar with the league. I’m very excited to work with this group.”

Atlanta United will unveil its inaugural jerseys at The Tabernacle on Tuesday.
