FLOWERY BRANCH -- Falcons defensive tackle Marlon Davidson plans to finish the season strong and hopes to have a strong offseason.

“It has changed a lot, being healthy,” Davidson said. “I can tell you that I haven’t grown into my body yet. This is not where I’m going to be in two or three years. I’m not going to be this size. I’m not going to be none of this. It’s going to be totally different.”

Davidson had left knee surgery last offseason.

“I never had that full offseason to where I could just go out there and do what I wanted to,” Davidson said. “I was banged up with surgery. A lot of my offseason I was down. ... Coming into this year, finishing this year strong, doing the little things. Mondays and Tuesdays are light days to get myself, to make sure that my knees are good and everything on my body is feeling strong. Whatever I can do, that’s what I’m doing. So, I can make sure that I can withstand the rest of this season.”

In the third game of the season, Davidson suffered an ankle injury against the Giants on Sept. 26. He missed the games against Washington on Oct. 3 and the New York Jets in London on Oct. 10. After the bye week, he returned against Miami on Oct. 24.
