Alabama LB Anfernee Jennings to have MRI on knee, out for National Championship against Georgia

Jan 3, 2018Alabama linebacker Anfernee Jennings will miss Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship against Georgia has he recovers from knee surgery.
Jennings recorded three tackles before he suffered a knee injury during Monday’s Sugar Bowl win over Clemson.
Early Wednesday morning, Jennings posted a note to fans on Twitter that he will have an MRI next Friday after surgery on Wednesday.
“Unfortunately I’ve played my last game this season, but I will be back stronger than ever next season,” Jennings wrote.
