North Carolina (8-5, 3-1) will be the top seed and play No. 4 seed Syracuse (8-4, 2-2) in the ACC lacrosse championship at Fifth Third Bank Stadium at Kennesaw State next weekend.

That game will be the first semifinal at 6 p.m. on Friday. No. 2 seed Notre Dame (9-2, 3-1) will meet No. 3 seed Duke (9-6, 2-2) at 8 p.m. in the second semifinal. All four teams are currently ranked in the top 16 in national polls.

The Tar Heels’ league loss was 13-7 to Syracuse on April 16. UNC topped the Irish 17-15 on Saturday. The Irish beat the Devils 8-6 in their regular-season match.

The winners of the semifinal games will meet for ACC title on May 1 at noon. Single-day and all-session tickets are available.
