Georgia Tech linebacker Melvin Jordan IV plans to enter the transfer portal, he announced on X on Tuesday.

Jordan played this season with the Yellow Jackets after playing three seasons at Oregon State. The 5-foot-11, 230-pound junior made 18 tackles in 2025 and logged 148 defensive snaps.

A St. Petersburg, Florida, native, Jordan played in 26 games and totaled 67 tackles (6.5 for a loss) during his time at Oregon State.

Jordan is the second Tech player to plan to enter the NCAA’s transfer portal which opens Jan. 2, joining offensive lineman Peyton Joseph.
