How to win lunch for your unit’s day and night shifts

You know your unit is the best around. If you can get voters on nurse.org to agree with you, the organization will buy you and your colleagues — day and night shifts — lunch. Even better, you get to choose the restaurant.

Nurse.org’s panel will select the top 10 nominated nursing units from around the country, and the nursing community will vote for the winner.

You’ll have to be quick, however. Nominations for the December winners will be accepted through Wednesday.

In addition to a meal for both the day and night shifts, your group will receive a “Nursing Unit of the Month” award and a shoutout on nurse.org’s Instagram page.

If you feel your unit deserves a delicious free meal, go the nurse.org/nominate and fill out the form.

Your unit could join the ranks of Boston Medical Center, 7 West (November’s winner); Grant Medical Center, Trauma Intermediate Care Unit (October); and Spartanburg Medical Center, Pavilion 6 (September).
