A 42-year-old woman was killed Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck in Paulding County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Glenda Buchanan, 42, of a Douglasville address, was traveling westbound on Mulberry Rock Road, near Dallas, around 3:20 p.m. when her vehicle traveled off the roadway, overturned and struck a ditch, Tracey Watson with the GSP said.
Buchanan died at the scene of the wreck, near the intersection with Carl Haley Road. The wreck temporarily blocked traffic in both directions.
Investigators have not yet determined what caused Buchanan to leave the roadway. Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected, Watson said.
