According to Macombdaily.com, 26-year-old Cristina Crespo was taking part in a Halloween pub crawl in a Detroit suburb on Saturday when a police officer spotted her lying on a sidewalk outside a local restaurant and bar.

After another woman came over and helped Crespo into the bar, the officer followed after them to investigate.

Once inside, the officer was able to speak with Crespo and her live-in boyfriend. The officer noted that the boyfriend was dressed up as "an abused husband."

The officer says both Crespo and the unnamed boyfriend had been drinking and told him they were going to head home for the night.

But as the officer was preparing to leave, he reported hearing yelling outside, and as he rounded a corner he could see Crespo attacking the boyfriend, "repeatedly hitting" the man with a purse.

Police said Crespo had a blood-alcohol level of .19, more than twice the legal limit for driving in Michigan.

She is now facing a charge of misdemeanor assault and battery.
