A Wisconsin woman avoided jail time Monday after pleading guilty to stealing a police car while in handcuffs last month, WISN reported.
Antoinette Martin, of Wauwatosa, was sentenced to 90 days in the Milwaukee County of House of Correction, with 90 days already served, the television station reported. She also received three years of probation.
Martin had been handcuffed in July while police investigated claims she threatened a couple with a screwdriver, WISN reported. Martin was led to a squad car but slipped out of her handcuffs, driving away with the vehicle before abandoning it several blocks later, the television station reported.
Martin was found by a K-9 several moments later.
The officers involved in her arrest were not disciplined, WISN reported.
