A family received the shock of a lifetime on a ride through a safari park in South Africa.

One curious lion came right up to the family’s car, peered in and then managed to open the car door with its mouth.

The family manages to quickly shut and lock the door. No one was injured.

One of the car’s occupants exclaimed, “I didn’t know they could do that!”

The video was taken in 2014, but is just now going viral, according to the Huffington Post.
