Police said a teen in Fort Walton Beach claimed her fake driver's license was legal if she acted out the false identity, the NWF Daily News reports.
Abbie Caay Huff, 18, of Pensacola, was pulled over by an officer on Oct. 24 for speeding. The officer said containers of alcohol were found in the car and the other passengers appeared to be under 21.
Officers found a Mississippi driver’s license that listed Huff over 21 years old. The arrest report stated that Huff’s real license was from Florida and she was 18 years old. She also had an arrest warrant in Escambia County for battery, according to the Daily News.
While in custody, she told officers that “the license wasn’t illegal because it was not used and it can be legally possessed if she were acting,” the arrest report states.
She was charged with possession of a fake ID.
