There have been numerous listings on Airbnb on the stranger end of things, including a treehouse, an "American Horror Story" filming location and an igloo. But one new listing may have all of those beat.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that a one-time Florida prison is listed on the vacation-rental site.

Located in Vero Beach, Florida, the prison is not in active use. Once the Indian River Correctional Institution, the Florida Department of Corrections closed the property in 2012 for budgetary reasons.

It was auctioned off in 2014 by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. It has nine dorms and 17 buildings and once held a maximum of 484 male inmates aged 14 to 18.

According to the DEP website, the minimum bid was $715,000.

Rob Goodman, the person who listed the property and hosts the space, says he works in television production and the space is frequently used for film and television shoots.

"The prison is close to restaurants and dining, the beach, and family-friendly activities," Goodman wrote of the listing. "You’ll love our facility because of the outdoors space. The establishment is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families with kids, big groups, and furry friends."

The $103 per night rental Sunday through Thursday and $175 a night rental on Fridays and Saturdays gives guests "99 acres of exploration at your own risk," a cell with two bunks and a toilet and "three fully stocked catch and release ponds to fish in." But anyone entering the prison space has to sign a waiver.

To get around, Goodman writes that guests are "basically on (their) own."

And don't expect mattresses or pillows: "Think of this as a camping trip-bring what you need to survive."

Like many quirky listings on Airbnb, this one could soon be removed from the site, but for now, it can be seen at Airbnb.
