A Colorado resident stuck in traffic due to a herd of elk crossing the road captured the unusual traffic jam on camera.

9 News reports that Autumn Phillips posted the video of the meandering animals on her Facebook page, writing, "Got held up in a little bit of traffic on my way home. Gotta love Estes Park, Colorado!"

In the short clip, an elk ventures between two cars, eliciting screams from a child.

The video quickly went viral and has been watched over 3.2 million times.
