It’s called a “smart dongle” and after you attach it to your phone it can really let you wake up and smell the coffee.
The attachment plugs into the headphone jack and holds a small cylinder with "enough fragrant liquid for 100 sprays," reports Robert Sorokanich at Gizmodo.
Scentee makes the $35 add-on which can be set to send "a scented puff on timed intervals, as an alternative to audio notifications."
The download of an app to operate the cartridge is also required. It’s available in both the Apple and Android app markets.
Here’s the beautiful part.
The user can set any smell to coincide with different notifications.
You can wake up to coffee, smell roses when grandma calls, or sniff strawberries at lunchtime.
The other “flavors” currently available are lavender, and rosemary.
