Burger King is not one to shy away from getting creative with menu items.
Like the Angry Whopper and the Halloween Whopper before it, the fast food chain is taking another risk.
But this time, it's not a whopper.
Burger King announced Wednesday that it will offer Mac n' Cheetos. The item mashes up Cheetos flavoring with mac and cheese noodles and a cheesy sauce.
The result are puff-shaped sticks that come in packs of five, according to Business Insider.
"It's a flavor that everyone is familiar with, but we are presenting it in a totally novel way," Alex Macedo, president of Burger King North America, told CNBC Wednesday. "No one has ever done what we are doing. It's bold and it's our only product launch this summer."
The recommended price is $2.49.
The quirky snack will be available Monday.
