The Atlanta City Council is hearing public comments ahead of the planned vote later today on funding for the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.
More than 350 people had signed up to speak when the meeting was scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Monday.
Hundreds of training center opponents filled the atrium at City Hall and crowded around a large screen playing a livestream of the public comment happening in the council chamber.
