On Wednesday, Anne Arundel County, Md. police posted a profile of Roger Ray Ireland on their weekly #WantedWednesday feature.
Their hope? That people who knew him would see it and tip them to his whereabouts.
One of the people who saw it was Ireland.
He was quick to let police know how well he was outsmarting them. Under his mugshot, Ireland posted, “Y’all will never catch me…”
Wrong.
At around 1 p.m. Thursday, following tips from others who saw it, police pulled over Ireland’s car. According to the police department’s Facebook page, Ireland was taken to jail without incident and served with an outstanding warrant for violation of probation.
He has not yet posted his thoughts on whether he will be convicted.
