Union City police are investigating a shooting involving three people at a hotel Sunday morning.
According to a news release, one person was shot, another was shot at, and one person was into custody after an incident at the Garden Inn on Shannon Parkway.
Police said two people went to a room at the hotel. During the visit, the resident of the room “fired several shots at the two visitors, striking one of the individuals twice,” according to the release.
The person who was shot was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police said the alleged shooter was taken into custody.
No names have been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
