The Missouri Department of Transportation wants to catch the attention of distracted drivers who may be watching their smartphone screens more than the road.
The electronic sign’s message reads: “Get your head out of your apps.”
The Missouri Department of Transportation posted an image of the sign on its Facebook page. The caption reads, “Distracted driving is one of the leading causes of crashes in Missouri. Give driving your full attention and put the phone down!”
The photo has received over 2500 likes and 6800 shares since it was posted yesterday.
