The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a crash that hospitalized two Hampton women Thursday in Fayette County.

An eastbound 2015 Nissan Sentra had just stopped at a stop sign and was trying to cross Antioch Road onto Goza Road when a pickup truck hit the car at the intersection, the GSP reported.

The accident happened just before 8 p.m.

Mark Isaacs, 52, of Jonesboro, was heading south in the 2014 Ford SRW Super Duty.

Nissan driver Nancy Collins and passenger Natalie Davis (both 82) were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition, according to Channel 2 Action News.

A family member took Isaacs to Piedmont Fayette Hospital for evaluation, the GSP reported.

Conditions of the three people in the crash were unknown Friday.
