One person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash that shut down multiple lanes of I-75 North in Marietta.

The accident was reported just before 1:25 p.m. Friday at North Marietta Parkway.

Authorities are still investigating the crash, but Marietta police Officer Chuck McPhilamy said “something caused it to roll over.”

“(The car) was carrying another vehicle and it rolled over as well,” he said.

The Georgia Department of Transportation and Marietta police cleared the crash scene by 3:15 p.m.
