A crash involving a tractor-trailer and a sedan blocked all southbound lanes of Ga. 400 in Sandy Springs for nearly two hours Thursday afternoon.

The wreck happened about 3:15 p.m. near Abernathy Road and the North Springs MARTA station exit. All lanes reopened shortly before 5 p.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

The sedan was crushed in the crash, but no one involved was seriously injured, police said.

Those involved in the crash sustained only minor injuries, according to Sandy Springs police.

A photo of the wreckage showed the rear passenger side of a navy blue four-door sedan almost entirely crushed by the tractor-trailer.
