The official start of spring is still two weeks away, but Thursday’s weather will leave you feeling like it came early, according to meteorologists.
There will be plenty of sunshine and pleasant temperatures, with a high of 69 degrees expected.
As expected, pollen count dropped in the last 24 hours with the cooler temperatures and rain -- in the moderate range for tree pollen.

I expect the pollen count to jump the next few days as the temperatures jump up toward 70 and it gets drier! @wsbtv pic.twitter.com/pdjengrNrV
The morning is a bit brisk, with temperatures falling in the low and mid-40s.
“But, we’ll get past the chilly start,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said. “It’s a good day to dress in layers.”

By the afternoon, it’ll feel like springtime, Monahan said. There will be no clouds in the sky, giving us a full dose of bright sunshine.
“Clear sky this morning, clear sky at lunchtime, clear sky all day today,” Monahan said.
In fact, the day will be almost perfectly sunny, with no chance of rain in the forecast, Monahan said.
“That’s total sunshine in your forecast for your Thursday,” Monahan said.
The warm, dry weather will continue into the weekend. Friday and Saturday will be a bit cloudier, with respective high temperatures of 63 and 55. However, the clouds will begin moving out by Sunday, bringing us more sunshine heading into the workweek.
