Georgia imposes mandatory water restrictions as drought worsens. The state declared a Level 2 drought in 52 counties, including metro Atlanta and much of north Georgia, that limits outdoor watering to two days a week. [Read more]

Lawmaker to withdraw 'anti-burqa' bill after wave of criticism. House Bill 3 would have made clear that no one could wear a burqa in a driver's license or state identification photo or while driving. It also appeared that the measure would have banned women from wearing burqas anywhere on public property. [Read more]

A $36 million judgment in the Bobbi Kristina wrongful death lawsuit. Two months after Nick Gordon was found "legally responsible" in connection to the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown last year, Fulton County Superior Court Judge T.
