1. Early morning storms cause downed trees, traffic delays. A fast-moving storm system that led to early traffic backups and downed trees is gone. 2. Neighbor: 'Cosby' kid previously rented suspected trafficking home. It's a stately, nearly 7,000-square-foot home in Sandy Springs worth nearly $1 million. But for the second time in recent months, it's those renting the home that have gotten the most attention. This week, the Strauss Lane home was the scene of a human trafficking investigation. 3. Sheriff slams 'King Nathan' over law enforcement pay. Some Georgia sheriffs have fumed for months that a 20 percent raise for state law enforcement officers bypassed local deputies. But few have done it quite as bluntly as Sheriff Butch Reece of Jones County. The sheriff was among hundreds of law enforcement officials at the Capitol this week for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. 4. Cops: Ex-teacher pulled chair from under special needs student. Paulding County authorities arrested a teacher they say pulled a chair from under a special needs student. Terri Johnston turned herself in Tuesday and was charged with simple battery, Paulding County officials say incident happened in December. [Read here] 

5. Court unanimously ousts South Korea's leader for corruption. South Korea's Constitutional Court removed impeached President Park Geun-hye from office in a unanimous ruling Friday over a corruption scandal that has plunged the country into political turmoil and worsened an already-serious national divide. [Read here]
