1. Selena Gomez showers fans with pop fizz at Philips Arena.  The pop star straddles the line between grown-up Disney star who doesn't balk at being shown nearly naked or as angelic-looking idol to millions of fans – mostly teen girls. See photos of the show here. 

 2. Braves first pick is a pitcher, natch. The Atlanta Braves added to their stockpile of young arms on Thursday, selecting right-handed pitcher Ian Anderson in the 2016 MLB draft.
