Brandon Bonds, 23, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with first-degree felony super aggravated sexual assault of a child, the newspaper reported. He appeared in court the following day and was ordered held on $50,000 bond, KHOU reported.

According to a probable cause hearing, Bonds was working with another plumber on Aug. 25. When the other plumber and the girl's father went to work on another part of the house, Bonds was left locked outside. Detectives said the girl unlocked the door and let Bonds in, the Chronicle reported. The alleged sexual assault then occurred, the newspaper reported.

Authorities said the girl later told her father what happened, and the man called the West University Place Police Department, KRIV reported.

If convicted, Bonds could face life in prison, the Chronicle reported.
