Google's recent filings with the Federal Communications Commission show that the company is preparing to release a wireless 4K set-top box for Fiber customers.

Google Fiber is widely known for its speed with connections up to 1,000 megabits per second and HD downloads as fast as 40 seconds.

Despite its high speed, Google Fiber hasn't taken off and was actually scaling back its operations, though the company will continue offering the service in Atlanta.

The box reportedly supports HDR streaming from YouTube, Netflix and more.
