Michigan police are looking for a man who stole a car with a man and two children inside, led police on a chase that exceeded 100 mph and then escaped on foot, WXYZ reported.

Ann Arbor police said they were executing a warrant shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday when a man attempted to enter the building, WWJ reported. The man then ran away toward the parking lot of a gasoline station and entered a car that was running, WXYZ reported.

According to police, the suspect drove off with a man in the car, along with a 2-year-old and 4-year-old child, the television station reported.

Police chased the suspect onto I-94, and speeds topped 100 mph, WXYZ reported.

Police were able to catch up to the vehicle after it exited the interstate, but the suspect was able to flee on foot, the television station reported.

Police said the man and two children inside the car were not injured.
